As part of Culture Night 2016 on 16th September 2016, CÚRAM’s then Artist in Residence, Joanna McGlynn and her School of Alternative Possibilities, organised an event which took place in Galway. During the event, members of the public were invited to join a conversation with biomedical scientists. The School of Alternative Possibilities is the current recipient of the CÚRAM Artist in Residence award.
REMODEL and CÚRAM centre researchers explained to the public the work they are carrying out on cartilage and tendon regeneration and neuronal stimulation, over a bowl of warming broth made from local ingredients at the “SOAP kitchen”. To find out more about this event, see the video below.
